I have been a volunteer 'helper' at the Mitchell Ranch for over 2 years now. I assist with grooming, handling, and riding horses listed as 'for sale'. I can tell you that these horses are VERY well cared for. Horses that are boarded at this facility are also VERY well cared for by the ranch staff when the owners are not around. Just because I volunteer out there does not mean I don't know anything about horses - I have been around horses since I was 12 years old (I am now 55!) in one capacity or another and I was myself a (multiple) horse owner for over a dozen years. Judy Mitchell is an honest horse woman and so are her employees are equally trustworthy. Anyone with less than positive comments about the Mitchell Ranch (and Judy in particular) simply has an "axe to grind" and they must have a personal vendetta for whatever reason.
